Safety Critical Inspections
As a specialized Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO 7-94) for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), IMP Aerospace’s onsite NDT capabilities provide safety critical inspections and component testing for a diverse clientele. Using industry best practices and top-of-the-line technology, our NDT department is committed to protecting our customers’ valuable assets through stringent inspection programs.
With accreditation and certification through national and international standards, our NDT technicians provide a full spectrum of conventional non-invasive inspection techniques. Our high-quality system for inspecting manufactured components and in-service structures for defects utilize different types of technology, including:
- Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI)
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
- Low & High Frequency Eddy Current
- Ultrasonic
- Radiography
Additional in-house capabilities include Level III services for technique, procedure development and approval, NDT auditing services, and specialized training.
